The Men's Wearhouse was founded in 1973 by George Zimmer (yes, the "I guarantee it" guy). The company has expanded its product offerings beyond just suits to complete every guy's look -- jeans, shoes, accessories; you name it.
We’re proud to have helped the Men’s Wearhouse launch their new mobile site! The Men’s Wearhouse didn’t have a mobile-optimized site before and they really wanted to give their customers a high-end experience that matches the amazing customer service you get when you walk into the store. In fact, one of the main focuses for the design was to drive in-store traffic.
Here are some of the features that make it all work:
- Persistent navigation
- Robust filter that allows you to view and edit currently selected filters
- A toggle between grid and list views
- Ability to toggle between "Regular" and "Big & Tall" sizes
- Store locator to drive in-store traffic
By using Moovweb, the mobile site inherits ALL of the functionality, content, SEO best practices and learning that have gone into making their desktop site so good, while at the same time adding mobile-specific features. One code line, optimized for both experiences!
But wait, that’s not all! The Men's Wearhouse's tuxedo rental site is now live! Customers can now build their own tuxedo look right on their smartphone. This amazing functionality lets users simulate different tuxedo combinations, reserve a tuxedo and put down a deposit. The new site supports full screen images in landscape mode to make the experience even better. Check out the site with this demo video.
